The Cel-Fi GO G51 5G NR 3500MHz mobile phone repeater from Nextivity is fully approved by Telstra and Optus to use in Australia.
This powerful 5G cellular repeater, which some may call a 5G mobile phone booster is the ONLY approved 5G cellular repeater in Australia* for small to medium consumer/private spaces without requiring cellular carrier authorisation and planning.
With a massive 27dBm 5G output, 100dB signal gain and a whopping download speed throughput of up to 570Mbps**, this repeater stands tall above it's predecessors and is a cost affordable solution for small to medium business requiring reliable cellular connectivity.
The CelFi G51 will ultimately perform best when installed by certified professional installers. Tin Can Solutions are Cel-Fi Certified Enterprise Installers and can either set you up with the correct gear for a professional and well calculated installation, or we can provide installation services throughout QLD Australia.
Multi Carrier Support
The Australian model of the G51-LE is compatible with Telstra and Optus. Vodafone is not approved on the G51 at the time of writing this.
Only 1 provider can be used at any one time which is easily selectable from within the Nextivity Wave app under Settings > Operator. This means that if you ever need to switch phone providers, it is an easy swap of carriers which only takes a couple of minutes.
This option does take a few minutes as it needs to download the new software update from Nextivity servers which requires cellular coverage, or a connection to the Wave portal via ethernet cabling connected to a internet connected switch and a Nextivity Cel-Fi approved installer to connect and initiate the update.
Simple Installation
The above image depicts the G51 at a window using a paddle or omni-directional antenna communicating with the cellular tower. While this is achievable, the signal quality is rarely good enough to obtain desired results without an external antenna, plus separation between the 2 antennas is required which becomes very hard to achieve in this scenario. But it does show you what is possible if cabling access is limited.

Note: 5G low bands are not covered by the G51 as it is designed for suburban areas where Band 78 5G NR 3500MHz is available. The Cel-Fi G41 is a lower cost alternative if band 78 5G NR is not available in the area.
